Who knew failing wouldn't make me feel shitty?
My Notion obsession continues!
Here I am with a new email! Hopefully I’ll improve your day and keep you company for a bit!
Summary of today's email
Therapist's wisdom
Apparently, this section will be a recurrent thing in these emails ahahahah.
As you know, problems don't go away so quickly, and my insecurities about my future, what I like, what I wanna do, etc., haven't gone away either. That's why this topic arose during my last therapy session, and I shared my concerns about my situation. I am still quite young, I'm only 24, and this both reassures me and makes me anxious. It reassures me because it means I still have time and do not have so many responsibilities; I can fail as often as I want. On the other hand, it makes me feel anxious because I think I am not going anywhere as it's already been more than one month that I know that my job doesn't satisfy me, and I still haven't found a replacement. It feels like time is running and I'm already late. And that's where the therapist's wisdom comes into place!
As I was doing this fantastic monologue about my fears, my concerns and my doubts about past decisions, my therapist said something brilliant! She said that even if I feel stuck because I haven't made sudden decisions like leaving my job without a backup plan, I am actually planning and preparing to take the next step. And that doesn't need to be overlooked as it is a necessary step. For who I am, making a sudden decision sounds like I am just trying to escape the situation without confronting my fears, and that would have made me feel even more lost the next time I was presented with something similar.
That's why, if you feel stuck, you may need to look at your situation differently, like my therapist helped me do.
First rejection and first win
During these two weeks, I've tried multiple new things (as I told you, I am on rejection therapy ahahahahah), that I could fail and learn faster than my average pace. These are a few things I've done:
I cold-emailed a vegan shoe brand—they rejected me, saying that they are taking a different direction for their collaborations. I've asked them for feedback (how could I improve for the next time), but I'm still waiting for their answer. If you are interested, I can show you the emails I exchanged with them. Just tell me, and I'll share them with you!
I participated in a video-making competition—I was among the five winners! I'll receive a gift, and there is a possibility that my video will be shared on a big account! You can watch the video here!
I've created a Gumroad storefront so that I can share my template more efficiently and (maybe) gain some money from it.
I've tried to pitch Notion to multiple people (my father among them, ahahah) and proposed to do a workshop for my Master's colleagues.
Hosted my second webinar (it was about hydrogen), and I discovered I really like this!
I'd love to hear from you. What have you tried these two weeks? What did you fail at? I was also thinking about creating a "failing" challenge. Let me know if you would be interested!
New Notion templates are out!
Here is the list of all the templates that I have online! I'll put them in Gumroad as soon as I can, but for now, you can answer this email with the name of the one you want, and I'll send it to you!

Asking for feedbacks
That's a wrap for today. I hope my life adventures helped you with whatever challenges you are facing these days. As always, I'd really appreciate it if you answered this email, telling me what you liked and didn't like. If you want, you can also answer with one of these three options:
I liked it!
I didn't like it.
It was too long.
It was too short.
I'd like to see something different next time.
Thank you so much. A lot of hugs and kisses, see you in two weeks!
